Nova Scotia Vacation - Herring Cove

We just returned from a great family vacation in Nova Scotia, and I have lots of pictures to post. I'm going to try to break it down in short posts, a few pictures at a time in chronological order. This post is pictures from a MacIntyre family walk in Herring Cove, where Scott's whole family lives. We took these pictures at the government wharf and the breakwater. This is a picture of Sarah pushing Ava and Riley up one of Herring Cove's many hills.
Here's a great shot of our beautiful Herring Cove, so pretty!
This is a shot took of the cove from the breakwater.
Part of the clan assembled at the rocks by the breakwater.
Doug and Judy looking fabulous!
A cargo ship on its way out to sea.
Justin on the rocks by the breakwater.
A great shot from the breakwater of Tribune Point.
Some of the fishing shacks down by the wharf.
This is the little brook that runs into the cove from Big Pond.
Another great shot of the cove. Sigh. Herring Cove really is a lovely village, and we had a great time while we stayed there with Scott's family. We were there in particular for the celebration of Doug and Judy's fiftieth wedding anniversary. We all tried really hard to make it a special day for them, and I'll post pictures of the special day in tomorrow's blog.
